Biography
Being a financial advisor is not just a career for Stacy Kupsky – it’s a deep privilege. Her passion in life is to see families, business owners, executives, and women in leadership win with money. As Vice President at Wayzata Bay Private Wealth Management, she helps her clients articulate their financial priorities to author a wealth story that weaves in their mission, vision & values. She empowers clients by providing customized planning, well formulated advice, and a dependable process.
Stacy began her career in account management & marketing in 2002, where she learned firsthand the challenges that business owners face. Her desire to help families nurture wealth through financial planning started at Northwestern Mutual in 2011. Stacy transitioned to the role of an Advisor at Morgan Stanley in 2014 to hone her skill before joining The Wayzata Bay Team as a partner in 2015. In 2022, her team utilized Green Wealth Management’s boutique structure to go independent and bring an elevated scope of service to their clients.
Stacy’s heart to help people extends to the Wayzata business community. She’s an active member of the National Association of Women Owners - MN and has been on the Board of Directors since 2022. Stacy is also member of the Wayzata Chamber of Commerce, where she has served on the Membership committee since 2023. Previously, she served on the Women-In-Business committee and on the Wavemakers committee.
Outside of the office, Stacy likes to explore parks and hike trails with her husband. They also enjoy creating healthy meals, and spending quality time with family both in and outside of Central MN. Avid fans of the arts, they love traveling to new places to take in different theatrical productions and exhibitions. In her quiet times, you’ll find Stacy reading with a little cat named Lottie in her lap!
