Biography
As the former owner, Managing Director and Investment Officer of Vista Wealth Management my growth as a trusted financial advisor has been a rewarding journey. My more than 39 years in the financial services industry began in 1976 in research and training with Edward D Jones in St Louis MO. I embarked on my advisory career in early 1983 with Piper Jaffray in Bloomington MN. Over the following 19 years I continued to develop my skills working side by side with clients on planning for, navigating, and achieving their financial objectives.
In 2002 I accepted the challenge of leaving the employee based world, and founded Vista Wealth Management, Inc. together with several other advisors, as a fully independent financial advisory practice. During this time, I’ve affiliated our practice with LPL, Wachovia and for the last 16 years, Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network. Over the years we’ve had offices in St Paul, Eagan and most recently re-established our presence in Bloomington.
We are extremely fortunate to have recently partnered with old friends from our days at Piper Jaffray to expand our footprint, personnel and investment capabilities through a continuity arrangement with Green Wealth Management Group of Wayzata. This journey has led to a wealth of experiential capability, defining the nature of a truly trusted financial advisory service as a process of listening, learning, collaborating, designing, and achieving our clients’ goals and dreams.
Equally important is that I’m enjoying more time with my wife, Tracy, traveling, sharing our family time, and engaging in a variety of outdoor activities in northwestern Wisconsin.
