Fred LeGrand, CFP®

Fred is a Managing Principal, First President, and Wealth Advisor at Green Wealth Management Group in Wayzata, Minnesota. Prior to joining Green Wealth Management in 2019, he was an advisor at Wells Fargo Advisors for fifteen years, the last 2 years as Branch Manager, Robert W Baird & Co for four years, and eight years with UBS Financial Services. As a Financial Advisor, Fred helps manage, grow, preserve and transition wealth for individuals, trusts, retirement plans, charitable organizations and businesses.

Through a long-term investment approach, he helps clients develop and implement strategies for building wealth and realizing their goals. Fred's mission is to provide objective and timely financial advice, and guidance - with the highest level of profession service - in building and preserving wealth for his clients.

Investing and managing money is very personal for Fred. His interest began at a young age as he prepared his father’s tax return when in high school and while in college, he started buying stock for the company he worked for. Fred was an early adapter in industry for Employee savings, establishing one of the State’s 401K plans and as a new stock broker, he started preparing investment plans for clients before most firms had a program.

Since the mid 70’s, Fred has lived in the Twin Cities area having arrived after graduating from DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois. Fred and his wife, DeSarae live in Blaine where they spend their leisure time investing in the lives of their many biological, adopted, and fostered children (currently at 20) and our twenty grandchildren. Plus, when not working, Fred also enjoys home projects, gardening, and exercising with specific goals in mind. He is also an avid supporter and volunteer at Hospitality House Youth Development.
