Biography
I joined Great Wealth Management Group 5 years ago. Before that I spent 15 years at Vista Wealth Management in Bloomington and Saint Paul, Minnesota. My total investment career spans 38 years of serving clients starting at Merrill Lynch in St Paul, Minnesota. Over the years I have developed a personal approach to understanding my clients’ needs, identifying long-term goals and working diligently to help them achieve their financial well-being.
After growing up in the Red River Valley of northwestern Minnesota, I received a B.A. degree in Political Science and Criminal Justice from Moorhead State University. Subsequently, I moved to the Twin Cities in 1977 and reside in south Minneapolis with my wife Betsy where we raised our daughter Lauren.
Outside of the office my other interests include fly fishing, pen and ink drawing, and woodworking. I volunteer with Trout Unlimited, Habitat for Humanity, and mentor ex-offenders for re-entry from incarceration. Finally, I‘m also an avid book collector, with a personal library of over 7,000 titles.
